Rebranding, Identity System, Color Theory, and Research
Uncommon Objects is a long-standing local Austin space for antique sellers to share their collection with a wide audience, ranging from sightseers, local shoppers, and celebrities. Currently, the general impression of Uncommon Objects is chaotic. Much like their store, their visual identity is a bit all over the place, and not in the charming treasure hunt all over the place, but in the confused (and maybe even outdated) where am I type of way. Uncommon Objects seem to have a good idea of what they want to be and what they aim to present themselves as, with a plethora of stories waiting to be told, but they are missing a cover to their book. UO needs a clear visual association to not only upsell but to clearly tell their story. My goal is to craft an identity that celebrates their rich history and brings harmony to their chaos through a fresh, modern lens.
